Consultations
We
offer a free consultation in your home. At this time we meet
you and your pets and walk through your daily pet and home
care routine in detail. Before the consultation, we send our
service forms, via email attachment. The service forms must
be completed for the time of our consultation.

Two working keys are needed at time of consultation
Scheduling
a consultation:
Due
to our heavy pet sitting schedule on the weekends, we need
to make our consultation appointments during the week days
or early evenings.
Last
minute consultation for new clients:
Even
in a last minute emergency, we need to schedule an in-home
consultation to meet you, your pets, and to go over your pet
and home care routines, and collect our service forms and
retain two working keys. If you have an unusual circumstance
and can not meet with us, but can provide a key to your home,
and access to your pets, please call or email. We can discuss
special arrangements.
Payment
for Services
Payment
for services are always submitted at least 2 days before services
begin or are left on the counter for our first pet sit. We
prefer to use Paypal Email Invoicing Systems for all service
transactions, but do accept checks and cash that can be left
on the counter.
-Paypal
Invoicing:
A
Paypal invoice is sent to the client’s email, usually at the
time reservations are made. Payment can be submitted anytime
prior to pet care services beginning. Clients can easily follow
the link in their email to submit online safe payment. We
find Paypal Invoicing system to be easy, convenient, and internet
safe for our clients.
-Checks
or Cash:
If
Paypal is not used, the client is required to leave payment
for services on the counter along with the New Travel Information
Form at the time of our 1st pet sitting service. We are not
set up to invoice clients for service fees after they return.
Refunds
Refunds
or credits are given at company owner's discretion.
Early
Return:
A
24 hours notice must be given to receive a full credit for
unused services. If a 24 hour notice is not given, we retain
one full day of service fees, and the balance will be issued
as credit in most circumstances.
Holiday
Deposits
Usually requires no deposit, unless requesting overnights
or 24 hour service.
Holiday Cancellations
There
are no cancellation fees for our regular 30, 45, and 60 minute
visits. Credits are considered by KPSS, depending on the inconvenience
or loss of other bookings, in consideration to our pet sitters
for overnight services and 24 hour services that do not have
adequate notice. .
Scheduling
Services
Regular
morning & evening visits:
It
is recommended that you book services at least 2 weeks prior.
However, we try very hard to accommodate our established clients
on last minute notices, but can not guarantee services under
those circumstances.
Overnight
Services:
It
is recommended that you book these services up to 60 days
prior, to assure availability. In the event of a last minute
request, we try very hard to be flexible for emergencies,
but we can only book your services, if our pet sitters are
available.
Every
Other Day Pet Sitting:
We
do not accept every other day pet sitting reservations. All
pet sitting services must be scheduled at least 1 x per day,
in consecutive days in a row, at least one day after your
departure to one day before your arrival date. This assures
us that if your pet ends up stuck behind a dryer or other
location, becomes ill, or the home air conditioner breaks
in the summer, they can be assisted in a reasonable amount
of time.
